The Ramifications are Suffolk University's beloved and award-winning co-ed a cappella group. Formed in the spring of 2001 as part of the Performing Arts Office, and comprised of 12-16 students, the Rams sing a contemporary repertoire spanning everything from pop and rock to r&b and soul.
The Ramifications can be seen all over campus at events including Fall Fest, Common Grounds Coffee House, and the Annual A cappella Festival. We join forces regularly with other schools and our most recent appearances include singing the National Anthem for the Boston Celtics and delivering an on-air singing telegram for Fox25-TV on Valentine's Day.
Released in fall 2006, Voices in the Attic is the Rams' full-length debut album and a collection of 13 tunes both modern and classic. Co-produced by Irene Antonellis, Amy Trefry and award-winning John Clark in his studio The Attic, the album's first track was selected for BOCA 2007 (Best of College A cappella), a CD compilation of the very best college a cappella tracks available across the country and around the world.
Equipped with an edgy sound, fun style, and a debut album making a splash
on the national a cappella scene, the Rams commit themselves to the cutting-edge
of collegiate cappella and challenge the limits of the human voice. It
is our ultimate goal to represent both Suffolk University and contemporary
